Cutting springs is old school and obsolete practice, and is now considered stupid an unsafe. Each coil serves a purpose for properly carry the vehicle's weight under various drivings conditions, and removing one or more coils degrades the springs ability to car the vehicle's weight properly. Additionall, the springs can become unseated under heavy compression due to the shorten length, and your ride quality will degrade signficantly and feel unsafe at higher speeds.

Lower your car properly and just save some money and buy lowering springs or coilovers. The game of modifying cars is a game of time and money to do things corectly. :yesnod
