This works on some cars but don't do it. It lowers the car, sure, but it rides like absolute ***hole-ness. Springs are designed to be compressed a certain length and are designed as such.

I would suggest the Eibach Pro Kit.

im looking for at least a 2 inch drop because a whole hand can fit inside the wheel well right now, and with the eibachs its only 1-1.5 which doesnt even give it a dropped look.

Eibachs...Rear before

Rear after

You cant tell me it doesnt look dropped

If you are looking for a "slammed look" the smart thing is to buy coilovers.

im looking for a slammed look. but also keep in mind you got bigger rims there which make the gap look smaller than if you were to leave stock rimms.

Not really, depends on the tire sidewall and stuff too. Either way cutting the springs = fail ricer 101.

I would suggest custom air ride then or check out the $99 eBay coilovers that probably ride like a** lol.

The reason the drop doesn't do any lower is because any more and there will not be enough travel. You'd have to install better struts/stiffer struts as well if you went lower.

Air ride is an option.

My wheels are bigger, but the tires are smaller... its the same thing as if you decided to get 15" wheels, with massive tires... they fill the same area its just the wheel/tire ratio that changes... I am SLIGHTLY over diameter (by 2%, not noticable)

If you want a slammed look, you need to buy coilovers, if you dont care about ride quality, buy those cheapo $99 things off ebay and be a test dummy! I think that would be safer than cutting the springs, however I dont think either are "safe" IMO, and I wouldnt consider doing either, but to each his own!

Ksport-http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/c...=cd01

D2-http://www.d2racing.com/conten...overs

BC Racing-http://www.bcracing-na.com/products/nissan.html

Out of the 3, BC racing is by far a better coilovers than Ksport and D2, price wise D2 is $200 cheaper than Ksport and BC. Those are the only coilovers out right now for the Altima coupe

I really don't want to, seriously... it's going to ruin your car. If you can't find Coilovers on ebay it means they either got pulled or they're not selling them at this time. I just looked and can't find them.

I will let you know, they are absolute s***ness. Just believe us. We have been through with previous cars and know what works on the Altimas and everyone is agreeing here.

Set aside 200-250 bucks and lower the car with the Eibachs. It may not be as low as you want to go, but it's safer and the ride quality is excellent.

I don't want to be offensive, i'm not trying to be. I'm just making suggestions and recommendations. You will thank yourself in the future if you go with the Eibach's.

Don't take the cheap route out on a 20,000+ car. It's just simply not worth it.

wrd. do it right the first time or dont do it at all. Ksport is known to be blown within couple of months and the quality is crap, D2 is made by the same company too so youre s*** out of luck. Save up 250 for eibach or 1000 for slammed look
