Yeah, like the title says...I'm getting a Blitz 3" Stainless steel dp and I need to know where to cut and weld it to make it fit the CA.

Cut and reweld on the rotational axis? or are we changing the angle here?

Ok, here is exactly what i did. There is a narrow part on the pipe right where it bolts onto the turbo extension. I cut that with a sawzall and then took that short piece and bolted it to the extension. The Downpipe will come with a mounting bracket that bolts to the other bracket that comes off of the transmission mount. Go ahead and bolt that on so you will know where the other end of the downpipe needs to go. Then put the downpipe up against the piece you cut off and take a marker and make a couple of marks on both pieces so you know where to reweld it and that is all there was to it. Works great!

ok, I might try it that way. Kinda sucks that my house, where I'm doing my swap, is like 15 miles from my friend's place, where the cutting and welding will take place...Anyone take any measurements at all??
