cut wire in my harness.... wtf???

the harness was from single cam and was professionaly modified to work with an sr however i found this wire cut its on the connector that plugs in to the coil packs. is this ok??? the car is not running yet cuz im waiting for a ignitior chip.

sorry the pics are really blurry my camera was acting up.... but its the yellow wire

I just changed my spark plugs and i didnt see any loose wires, IIRC all of the wires in mine were connected and i didnt see any space were one could go.

This might help more, this guy did a write up on a coilpack harness for an s14 not sure if its the same but looks like the mspaint drawing looks kinda like the connection the the first pic. zerothread/341502

That plug looks like the coilpack plug, and if is, thats probably going to cause issue on start up. You need to get that wire to its proper location.

did you just buy that swap off a guy on here? the valve cover looks like that one. just wondering. also, get a bigger picture of where that plug is coming from. cuz my coil pack harness has yellow on the inside of the connectors. so get some more pics up

The pictures are no good, but it does look like that is the main harness plug that the coil pack sub harness connects to. if im looking at it right, from the pic its upside down so that yellow wire is coming from the lower corner so it should be the wire that connects to the first cylinder coilpack but not the signal wire but the wire that tells the ecu it has fired. so your car should run but u do need that wire hooked up. Take better pics so that we can track it down.

yeah i know the pics suck... but if you look at the first one you can see the yellow wire is cut.... it was wraped up with tape untill i pulled it apart and found it. and yes it is the main harness that plugs into the coil pack sub harness. ill get some more pics tom... thanks for the help guys.
