lik ZOMG i can almst reed whut u typ3d.

Lets start with real words and their proper spelling. Also; try mixing in some grammar, along with some punctuation. It makes it so much easier to read. Compair my post (and every one else) to yours. Wch 1 is ezr 2 reed?

Then,

Go out and do a google search for "lowering springs" for what ever car it is you have. Had you actually told us what car you have, I might have looked for them for you. Then, once you complete that Herculean task, you need to do another google search for "spring compressors" They are what some would call a "Tool". No, not the kind you hang out with after school. They compress the factory springs, so you can safely disassemble the struts, and the shocks (Sears makes some good ones). you might also need to purchase a socket or wrench to fit the spring compressors. Then, once you are done with installing your new lowering springs, you need to promptly drive over to your favorite, most trusted, alignment shop. And have them align it. So you can safely cruse the streets, and not eat the *** out of your tires.

Notice, no where in the above text; did I instruct you one how to, or how much to cut your springs. This was done intentionally. And if you tell me that you can't afford lowering springs, then I will ask how you plan to pay for an alignment.

And please for the love of God, and all that is Holy. Please don't "touge" drive on the public streets. Find a sanctioned event, on a closed course.

NONE, ZERO, DON'T DO IT! Sell one of the many cars listed under your name there and buy some lowering springs.

I went ahead and grouped these al together for you, since you seamed to have missed what every one said before. And "wat" has an "h" in it, right after the "w" and right before the "a".

What is wrong with heating or cutting a coil spring to lower a vehicle?

Heating or cutting a coil spring in order to lower a vehicle is just plain foolish. These procedures are very dangerous and at the very least results in poor handling due to the changing of the original springs characteristic and pre-load. 9 When Eibach suspension springs are fitted, will the car sit at the correct ride height or will it need time to settle? All Eibach suspension coils are pre-set to eliminate settling and increase life expectancy. Some minimal settling may occur as the new spring mates up to an existing rubber suspension isolator, this is normal, but is not the same as a poorly produced spring which may take a set and effect the ride height, handling and alignment of the vehicle.

As everyone has said, cutting them is just plain dangerous.

But also, it won't eliminate any body roll. The only thing that can do that is higher springs rates and stiffer dampers. And anti-roll bars, and sway bars, of course.

HAHAHA.

Full of fail, unfortunately.

If you really were talking to a "pro" touge driver, or just a decent driver who knew the basic circumstances and function of the suspension system, they would have slapped you and began to laugh at your "cutting springs" idea.

Worst EVAR. Eibach sells a very good spring. Go with them. They are all of 200 dollars off of a known ebay store. Buy them. Replace stockers with them..

Wait. Erase that last part.

Take to a shop, and ask to replace them - you might get another good idea while your looking underneath your car - and we don't need anymore wrecked nissans.

now i know all this is true, but. ive noticed alot of quad and dirt bike guys/girls get their springs powdercoated to match the body work of their quads/bikes.

Even a chick friend of mine had hers powdercoated pink to match the rest of her bike. when she showed me, i turned to my buddy, who is the driver on our team, and asked "ugh, wont that totally F* up the spring rates, like how dumb ricers heat their springs to lower it?" haha, he look at me, then looked back at the quad, then looked at me again and said "hahaha yeah!"

"so should we tell her?"..... "naw!"

oh, oops, kinda got carried away with the story, but i was gonna say, wouldnt a reputable powdercoating shop be smart enough to tell you to not get your damn springs powdercoated?

edit: just found this from eaton springs via google

***In order to safely powder coat springs the temperature MUST remain below 350 degrees!!!!***

hope the shop that did hers or anyone elses springs knows this.

street drifting.....or "touge-ing" is just plain dangerous, not only to you and your car, but the everyone within 50000000000 miles, which means if you street drift, God will kill 3 newborn infants, then eat your liver!!!!

by including yourself in these dangerous, ILLEGAL activities, it further promotes the horrible image that drifting already has, mostly thanks to tools like you, not only do you learn FAR more on a track, there are WAY less consequences, do yourself and us a favor, look for local events. Your in Cali so it shouldnt be too hard, save a few $$$, then do it right, you will meet FAR more knowledgeable people, who have real experience, and will understand your cars dynamics and tell you what you should do with your car to perform better , but also wat you should do to become better with technique

please dont make God kill 3 Newborn infants, and eat your liver.......my wife is pregnant, and i would like to keep my child
