my s13 coup had cut springs when i got it and it is slammed. I think that it is low but cradle that the spring sits in is barely about the tire now. In a perfect world where all the roads are smooth it would be great but i live downtown so its a big problem for me. Id like to know if the is something to swap out or a different way to do it. Thanks

Yeah, dont cut your springs.... buy shocks and springs or coilovers if you want to go low (not those ebay sleeve ones)

if you want a temp. fix find some stock springs, you can probably get them for almost free.
megan street coilovers are decent and cost under a grand. they will get you low and wont blow out in a month...but people will call you cheapskate.
im going to be going with powered by max coilovers on my new s14, they look cool, go super low and i hear nothing but good things. and no one can really hate on that.
be wise and get the accompanying items when you so this though...for instance rear camber adjusters.

powered by max > megan by far. You can get them for a thousand bucks, barely more than the megans, if you're getting coilovers, just save up for the pbm.

its all the s*** from pbm. tension rods, traction rods, rucas, toe arms and coilovers.

and lowness doesnt decrease body roll, chassis rigidity, linking your suspension via strut bars, aftermarket sway bars, stiffer springs/better dampening will result in less body roll.

stop posting, and use the search button. you will find any answer to silly little questions like this without wasting time and clouding up 240gens first page with nonsense.

Come on now, cut the n00bert some slack, at least he's willing to learn.

SlideRide, using the search button will definitely help you out a lot, since we're the biggest Nissan community on the web. Pretty much every question has been asked or answered. As for going lower, if you like it and are on a tight budget, throw some lowering springs on there to tide you over. A set of Tein lowering springs can be had for under 200 bucks. Couple that with some shocks/struts (maybe used), and you'll be pretty content, maybe even for under 500 depending on the shocks you find. I've never had coils on my car, but from what I've read (over and over again) it really pays off in the long run to drop some extra dollar into a nice set of coils instead of rushing.
