excuse my stupidity, I was looking to lower my 90 fastback, but sombody who races 240s on the track says I'll have problems with tire wear. I have 17"s on it and I wanna make it look better. So what do you think cut,(nice and cheap)springs,(nicer but more money)coilovers,(really nice but at $120 a piece, ouch)airbags, (really ouch, but a whole lot more fun). Any help would be GREATLY appriciated ThanxED

if you mean coilover sleevs, no. if you mean coilovers ($1000+ ), then yes.

cut springs - NO

airbags - from a performance standpoint, NO

from what you listed, you will be best off keeping it stock.

keep it stock, if this was in the suspension forum (like it should be) you would've been flamed miserably.

eh? how exactly does lowering a car make the tires wear faster? my car was moderatly lowered for a year, didnt make the tires wear badly, and has be decently low for the past few months, also no unusual tire wear...

as long as sotck/good alignment specs are kept tire wear shouldnt change...

and from your list... keep it stock, your 17x7 +40s will look bad no matter how low the car is.

They made a performance air suspension system for the scooby (one company) I hope they make a universal app soon. but that'll be a hella money.

DUDE! just get hydraulics one time and go 3 wheelin around the track past everyone!

that...would be interesting...240 turbo convertible with hydraulics.... I think I'd get more "constructive criticism" than brokeas did lol. (if you guys ever see one pop up sometime in the dist future...you know who it is )
