ok long story but i ended up with a set of agx's and some cut tein stech's, heres the problem. because of the previous owner cutting the spring a little under a inch off .the driver side sits a little higher than the pass. my question is can i use washers between the strut and the strut tower to level it out? only reason i care is the horrid pull my car has to the passenger side...saving for a new set of springs so please dont say " why dont you just get some new ones" theres an event this tuesday and im kinda in a rush.

no ps makes this a horrid problem at the track, thanks for any answers.

I would cut them to equal like sullivan said or you could go buy a spring spacer and shove in there. You can try washers if you really want to. I wouldn't recommend it but it may work.

i agree, especially if u are going to be tracking it like that, not too sure how safe some washers would be.

i wouldn't use the washers. its going to be unsafe to use on the track. that S*it will snap on you... don't want to hurt yourself muchless your ride.

cutting seems like the best option, i spot welded the bottom of the springs to the strut so they wouldnt shimmy off during runs. anyone know a ruff idea about how much you cut equals height? probably worded that wrong but i think you get the idea

I was not saying buy them before the event but if you do some hack job like citting the others or buying "washers" you will never fix it then it will be half a**!

if i were you i would shell out the dough for some new springs, because cut springs can fail at any time, its a problem waiting to happen, besides springs are only about $140
