The intake manifold to valve cover hose has been cut, reason unknown. Is it an easy fix?

thats just the pcv line. you could probably run to pepboys and find the right diameter hose and make it work. won't look as nice, but would work.

the best fix would be to not have it go into the intake manifold at all... mine doesn't :|

engines don't like to eat thier own poop...

5/8 inch heater hose does the trick. About 4 bucks for 6 feet of it.

Ok, why can't you just put breather filters on the valve cover? just a question, I was thinking about doing that, can't see any catastrophic results happening.

I'm customizing my valve covers so there's only one fitting, that's going to a catch can with a breather on it, I hate hoses and crap going all over the place, oil in the intake, failing PCV valves...

Breathers seem to be a pretty contraversial subject. I know they're technically illegal, but does anyone have any solid information on whether they will hurt / help the engine?

All it does is pull air out of the crank case which the vaccumm from the intake helps out A LOT.
