I came across this on a thread and am very curious what I need to duplicate this? I was on Jegs and saw where I can get the fitting for the steering rack, I was just curious if anyone could tell me what AN Fitting pieces (size/thread/an) I need to connect to the power steering pump like i see here.

Thanks!

**ignore the stupid title, due to my line of work I always type cusotmer when I intend to type custom.**

That should tell you all the parts you'll need to make your own customer PS line. I plan on doing the same when i do my SR20 swap.

I figured out what was necessary when doing my LS1 swap. I used a similar, if not exact fitting to go into the rack (14mm x 1.5 --> -6AN) BUT it leaked.

Problem is that the stock fitting is longer than that Earl's fitting so the o-ring could not seat properly. So, either use the fitting anyways and use some loc-tite or teflon tape and hope for the best or hack off the stock fitting and rig up some other solution (I recommend the Earl's fitting). BTW, loc-tite works great for sealing high pressure stuff, but if you ever need to get it out, better hope you used the blue kind and that you don't end up stripping the aluminum.

High Pressure:
EAR-130606ERL 6ft of -6AN Power Steering Hose (Blue Hose)
EAR-134606ERL 45degree -6AN Hose Fitting, Steel, Zinc plated
EAR-139106ERL 90degree -6AN Hose Fitting, Steel, Zinc plated
EAR-9919DFJERL -6AN to 16mm x 1.5, AN to Metric fitting adapter, blue
EAR-991954ERL -6AN to 14mm x 1.5, AN to Metric fitting adapter, blue
Comments: You only need about 1.1ft of the power steering hose.

a couple questions, the 16mm and 14mm jam nuts are those restrictors or do i need to add restrictors. I dont know if it even matter how much fluid goes into the rack?? and does this line replace the big metal banjo fitting that bolts on the pump

no need to add anything just those fittings, the fitting replaces the banjo bolt and the one sensor too
