Pull out that ricer tiny filter off there and put your PCV hose back into the intake pipe. You drive around like that and the car will run rich because the blow-by gas that was metered by the MAFS won't go back in for burning and there will be more fuel than needed. That'll rub oil off your cylinder walls and have the engine wear out quick.
Uhm WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! that hose just acts as a breather so the head dosnt build up excessive oil pressure..... As long as it isnt blocked off its fine.. And the "blow-by gas metered by the MAFS wont go back in for burning"...Well first of all the MAFS is way before that tube so it does not see a difference.... Where did you get such faulty information? And quit bein such a CACK WRANGLER to a fellow 240 owner.

Back to subject: Nice valve covers! Mine is polished with shaved letters on my dohc ka i like the way it looks alot! nothin beats a nice polished metal besides in fact ATHF!

This is just before my first setup of my swap was done. Don't have a picture of current but the turbo has been replaced with GT35R and the cam covers were painted metallic red but they have faded into a copper metallic color. I liked this red better.

Everything you just posted is incorrect. Soravia was right even if he was being a jerk about it. Nissan designed it a certain way for a reason.

If I had actually owned a Nintendo I would've done something like that!! it's pretty sick though!!

As for the Anodize cover that's what I was planning down the road once my valve cover got all faded and nasty and disgusting. I'm curious to see one actually...

Greyed out the intercooler pipes and valve cover on a ca18det, used dupicolor engine enamel for both.

lol yeah runs+drives good, except it desperately needs a paint job (4 diff. colors right now) and so far the best price i got is $2,000. and i didn't remove my rear tow-hook when i put the cat-back exhaust on so it touches and gives alot of unnecessary vibrations... just little touch up things and it should be good ^_^ i'll post pics after its painted.

Hmm...to many pics of ka valve covers lolI am repainting my valve cover soon and need options. Post more people!

So far my choices are -Chrome (kinda like broadfields only w/ black lettering) - Black, to keep oem fresh but w/ a nice metallic-Daytona blue maybe...?
