After 104 degrees today, I'm looking into getting another windshield sunshield. I threw away my old one because it didnt fit this car right. After noticing many on cars, they all seem to not fit cars properly, or cumbersome to put in. I saw custom fitted ones, but they price out at about $50 vs the generic size at $15. Does anyone have experience with custom shields? Worth it as far as coverage and ease of fitting in?

Yes. We have one for the Frontier and had one for our C5. They are absolutely worth the extra money. They block a LOT more heat, the coverage is exact, and they're not hot to touch when you fold them up.

I started thinking about it for the same reason....

One from ebay doesn't look bad....

Or one of these two maybe...

This is the one I was looking at.

I like the fact it is thick and not flimsy. And for the price, $6 more than Ebay, I'd prefer buying it from Amazon because if I have an issue they'll take it back and pay return shipping. There's a couple others I saw there that I'll take a closer look at though. I'll pull the trigger by tomorrow. I just hope they stay in place.

I just have the round one that folds into a 12 inch circle. Works for me.
