I may be picking up a 1996 240sx with low mileage (57000) and it the closest one to my home, as there aren't too many of these cars around here. However unlike some, it doesn't have a sunroof. Is it possible to have an OEM sunroof installed? Thanks.

i think it is best to NOT have a sunroof because there could be endless problems in the future. I don't have a sunroof on my s13 and i am very happy with that and i have been wanting to sell my car and get another s13 but i know i will not be able to find one that will not have a sunroof and have power everything at the same time. These is just my thoughts.

do not do this. I bought a car with it and it leaked. got tired of it, and had a body shop epoxy weld the hole with a sheet metal. the car looks better without sunroof. now it doesn't leak.

I like my sunroof, but its starting to rust and the gasket needs replaced, starting to whistle while going over 35mph. I would advise against an after market one.

Hey does this include anyone cause dam ive had my 91 for 2 years and no leak. I just cant find the dam part to bolt to the roof so the sun roof will be able to be locked down .

I love sunroofs. I don't have one but oddly enough, my hatch has power everything else. Sunroofs are nice. My dad's 97 850 with almost 200K has a sunroof and it still works great.

Thanks Guys, it isn't too much of an issue but I was just curious. I just bought a 240 today w/o a sunroof so I was just wondering. Anyway while test driving it I fell in love with it and forgot about the sunroof for a while. I don't want it if it will only cause leaks and rust. Thanks again, now I'm not worried about it.
