seems there's a couple other threads on spoiler removal but i thought i was special enough to start my own :D . well anyways my friend and i were thinking for a while about removing the spoiler off my car, didn't look right, paint was peeling, just looked cheesy. so a couple days ago we took it off.

as we were thinking of a way to create a unique look for the car, a good thought hit me, why not make a custom spoiler. so i grabbed the stock spoiler and started to sand it down...was originally just going to paint it black and put it back on, but opted for a longer route, so my friend and i went out and got some bondo and sandpaper. just today we filled in the holes left by the wing so everything looks all smooth.

the next step it going to be to accually create this custom spoiler out of the stock wing...and if it looks bad i can always just keep the wing off! the middle part of the spoiler that holds the 3rd brake light is gone (we custom mounted the light in the backwindow....easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy:D ) and i plan on filling it and making it flush with the rest of the spoiler. the corners near the side of the trunk are going to be more rounded, and we're planning on custom mounting the spoiler slightly higher than stock so the back end looks a little more aggressive.

i will have pics up of what i've done....probably tomorrow....or the next time that i have access to a digital camera....let me know what u think about it!
