Custom soft tops???

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone out there has done a custom soft top, or if anyone knows how much square material, and what kind of weather proofing it takes to make one. I've had an idea brewing since about the time I started modding my vert, and would like those questions answered.

Although Burberry would hAAWWWt, no. I think if and when it goes down, I will have approval, but till then, I just need to know what is entailed, to see if its possible

i would suggest finding a local top & trim shop or a general automotive upholstery place. check your local phone book and ask around the older people in the local car scene. once you find one, talk to them about your custom top ideas.

this isn't something that is regularly discussed here in the vert forum. we've all seen a few custom tops, but none of them (as far as i know) are members here. seems like you're blazing a trail. good luck!
