So after a lot of thought, I decided to make my own intake. I figured I can start out with a Short Ram Intake, maybe sometime I'll run it down to the bumper for some cold air. Let me know what you think!

Yup, worked like a charm. The diameter of the adapter is 3", and the stock tube is ~2.5", so i used a 3" silicone coupler and wrapped it around the tube

I love the way it sounds, its got a nice, deep sound, and isn't too loud. If I remember, maybe i'll take a video for a sound clip

It feels a little quicker response when i hit the throttle, so it makes entering expressways and passing a little easier/smoother. My little gas mileage app on my phone is telling me I'm getting around the same MPG. My first tank was ~1-2 lower (probably from testing for any increase in power), and my second tank was ~1-2 higher, so we'll see over time with some more fill ups

oh it's nothing special really, just an estimate by all means

It's called "Mileage", for Android phones. For each fill up, you just enter your odometer reading, gallons filled, and gas price, and it calculates your MPG for each interval. It also gives you a summary on your max MPG, min MPG, how much you spent on gas each week/month/year, etc. The app is free on the Android market

I know a lot of people do the same thing using excel, this just gives me an option to do it right on my phone while I'm at the gas pump :)
