I'm in the market for an intercooler. I'm going to use the JGS piping and need some thing along these lines since its the intercooler they use. I assume the length would have to be the same but the height and width can be smaller.

24" wide (min. 30" wide with tanks) x 2.75" thick (3.25" thick at tank to tube header) x12" tall

we have a 10h x 20w 2.75 thick.the total width would be around 30 inches with end tanks. this is what we use for most front mounts.

how much of a cage do you want and how well do you want to hide it?

we have done cars where we have gutted the A and B pillars and sunk in the roll cage to where, once painted, it looked almost OEM.

Planning on installing sparco fighter seats with 2 bolt 4 point harness so will need a shoulder harness bar. side bars and 1 in the front are my big requirements. .120 wall!!!!! damn your building a tank!if you use 1020 DOM tubing you can use .095 wall. although the tubing diameter may need to be bigger. that is determined by the over all weight of your car.

your budget for a roll cage of $500 to $800 for a 8 to 12 point cage is not realistic for a custom 1 off. that is more like a AUTO POWER bolt on cage price. for an for a 6 point mig welded cage we start our price at $1800. Tig welded cages start at $2300.

you can look at some of our cages and you can see that there is alot of work that is involved with cage building not to mention the responsibility.
