This is a project I am working on for a friend. I am building him a custom 321SS Twinturbo header and he is using two of my custom GT25R turbos that flow 44lbs/min a piece. We are shooting for a conservative 700hp with this setup. I removed the stock throttle bodies in favor of a single 83mm Q45. I modified the stock fuel rail by cutting off the ends and welding on -8 AN male fittings. Each end is fed by a single 600hp Pierburg pump that exits out the middle of the rail to an Aeromotive FPR. This setup is going into a 260Z. You can check out other projects on my site. http://www.speedshopthagard.comNeed to polish some of the welds and then a few more mods and it will be ready for powdercoating.

i like the velocity stacks. im confused though. you have a 600hp FP feeding BOTH ends of the rail, or a pump for each end?

"Each end is fed by a single 600hp Pierburg pump that exits out the middle of the rail to an Aeromotive FPR." That means we are using 2 pumps. Sorry for the confusion.

That's nice, where did you get the velocity stacks? I'm gonna be making my own intake for my rb20 soon and was thinking of using them but couldn't locate them! Thanks.

Are they a custom size? Or is that something they stock that is meant for rb26's? I'm trying to find where to order some.

How much did all 6 run you?

Thanks.

Sorry guy, I don't remember the exact cost on those, but I think they were closr to $40 ea. and no they are not specific to any motor, they come in many configs, your choice...

You can order them with a flange or just what they term a spinning (without a machined flange)

ouch...$40 each, that'll be $240 for just the stacks plus shipping, then the rest of the items. I guess I'll just make mine regular since I"m not going for super high HP numbers.

How much is it going to cost total? If you don't mind me asking...I have been looking at the Veilside intake manifold and 100mm TB. A bit on the steep side at some 1200+USD but they make proven power.

Thats very similer to the one I'm going to build for the KA. Except I'm going to use a tad longer runner, mostly to accomodate to fuel rails though. Very nice work. How are the seams welded, Tig? I am tempted to try a braising type of aluminum rod on mine.

Anyway, nice intake. I hope you have before dyno number to compare to after. I'm very interested.
