I'm new here. And I have been reading about all the different problems through out the states about different companies who do the importing of Japanese engines. First of all I'd like to say that I have dealt with Venus-Auto for almost a year now. I have ordered numerous sr20s and rbs from them. Secondly I haven't had a problem with them. I mean they get their engines and front clips used, so I understand that sometimes their stuff isn't of the highest quality. However I haven't heard anyone complain about their prices, I mean if you didn't want to pay that much money for a high performance engines that quite frankly are called high performance engines because they DO REQUIRE A LOT OF "TAKING CARE OF", I mean their called high performance for a reason, then you shouldn't try to bargain with people on their prices. I don't mean to sound rude or anything and I apologize if that's the way I sound, I just don't understand why some not all people don't want to pay the top dollars for their merchandise and when they do recieve it, if they have a problem rather than trying to fix it with the importer, they talk s*** and then have a complete attitude toward the people who work there. I mean, I don't know if many customers understand that these importers deal with hundreds of calls a day, not including emails, has anyone every tried to answer phones all day including emails and attempt to remember who bought what and what went wrong? I mean I used to work for a company and I remember I would get so frustrated by the end of the day because I would get rude customers who would completely blow their tops and then expect me to remember who they were, when they purchased something and remember to send them something back. I'm sorry but people who are still in the importing marketing and sales field, I would like to say that you guys and gals have a lot of patience and courage dealing with certain customers. As regards to Venus anytime I have had a problem I'd give them a call and they have always tried to help out. Sometimes it took them a little longer than normal but I have visited them numerous times before and they are a very busy business. And quite contrary to popular belief they do do compression tests and they do start up the front clips, hell I've been there, honestly I can probably say that I am there quite often. Generally when they do recieve complaints about their products they have always tried to help and I know from first hand that many times the shipment becomes damaged because of the shipping company. I mean face it shipping companies don't care what your shipping it's all about the space your taking up. Hell they pile hundred pounds shipments ontop of things, then people wonder why they get damaged.
