I hope this will be a basis for anyone considering buying a custom front-facing intake manifold for the RB20DET/RB25DET off Ebay (seller: ksocute, from Thailand), I took the risk and wasn't too pleased of the IM in person. I couldn't complain about the shipping, it was quick.

From the outside, the manifold look decent, but once you look toward inside, it's just horrible.

If you are all in for the look then by all mean don't let me thwart you from getting one.

Velocity stacks are made for a reason, to promote a smooth and less turbulance of intake air. Well evidently this isn't the case and would complete ruin performance. Just an *** job at it.

I hope no one waste their time with this POS. I will definately cut this baby up and do an open heart surgery before put to use.

Damn I don't feel so bad about mine now lol. It's no where near as bad as that. The DIYK is the best bet for a good manifold since you do it yourself.

How are you guys taking care of the back cylinders running lean? I was wanting to get a front fed manifold but figured I would have to wait until I bought EMS (if it ever comes out) so i could tune each cylinder to compensate.

supposedly the down angle of the front of the plenum help even out the air to each cylinder.

BoostsFed, can you change the topic of this thread to say something about an intake mani, like "custom rb20det intake manifold review"? For some reason the "IM" only shows up at the top of the 1st post and not on the thread list.
