I am so excited to get my car back.

With the help of a few friends and the advice of a lot of NICO experts.. my manifold project is pretty much complete.

So... Thank you to everyone for your help!!!

Sorry for the photo quality.. it's a crappy camera and I'm using my flash.. plus I didn't spend any time cleaning things up.. I just wanted to get a couple pics online to share.

Love how the engine looks so much lower in the engine bay now.

Hot side piping from my RB25 turbo upgrade to the front mount. Notice the placement of the intake.

The trickiest part of the project was routing the coolant hosed from radiator to the manifold.. what a pain.. (Thank God my buddies MKIII Supra had an upper radiator hose with a perfect bend in it!!)

I'll get things cleaned up a bit and get some better pictures. I'll be cleaning and polishing, redoing the wires, properly installing the battery in the trunk, rerouting the fuel lines under the manifold, reworking the bracket to hold the throttle cable, etc... lots to do to clean it up..

But I'm happy it's on and running. This engine will be SOOOO much easier to work on now. Plus it looks cool as well.

Thanks guys!

Yes definite power gains!

I'm just not sure what share of the gains is attributed to each part. 1.) Intake manifold should flow better than stock. 2.) Front mount intercooler definitely brings the air temp down. 3.) shorter piping should increase throttle response... at least enough to counter the reduced response that would result from a larger intercooler.4.) RB25 turbo upgrade should be a 15% gain i think?

I'm thrilled with it, but I've got a bunch of things to do to improve the presentation.

I can't wait to get things cleaned up and straighted up and make the engine more presentable. Right now it looks like a birds nest with all the hoses and tubes running all over the place.

I have got to come up with a better throttle cable bracket... the one on there is just a make shift for now.

that hose is the AAC supply line that comes to the manifold from before the throttle body.

We were going to put the whole AAC assembly on the bottom, but for some reason we just figured it would be easier to have it on top, accesible, and certainly have enough space. It's all the way to the back... so it doesn't look too terrible.
