from what I've read, it's 60mm.. I wouldn't mind putting an RB25 TB on there, but there aren't that many of them on ebay. There are lots and lots of "Q45 BIG 90MM" throttlebodies however.. but that's a bit big.. unless 90mm is the outside diameter? Which would make the throttleplate around 70-75mm?

the internal diametre is actually 83mm the outside is 90mm. depends on your setup, the Q45 might be suitable

I'm going for about 400bhp (got a garrett GT2871R on atm and not planning on going any larger than that really). A Q45 throttlebody sounds way to large for me

good point. just try to get your hands on something around the 60mm mark and it should be fine

I've decided to go for a KA throttlebody, it's 60mm and it has the same hole pattern as the stock CA one, but probably with a larger centre hole The only problem with it though is that it seems like the throttle cable runs on the other side of the plenum (towards the head). But it should be possible to route the cable on the "wrong" side right?I have to make my own bracket for the cable right?Would be relatively easy to do if there was two nuts welded to the plenum, so you could just make up a bracket that bolts to those two nuts. Otherwise I'll have to find someone with a TIG-welder. Not that that matters for me, since I know a guy who owns one, but it's just an idea.

Simply flip the TB over and don't use the coolant ports. That is exactly what I did and it works fine.

Edit: are you using a KA-E or KA-DE TB?

I'm not using anything yet, haven't bought it.. I did read that the KA-E is larger than the DE? Or is it the other way around? And how big is the difference?Which cars have the KA-E engine?

Ariel,

I bought my CA plenum from you last year. After fitting it to the car and finding out the output range from the TPS switch was limited and the return spring wasnt strong enough to hold the throttle plate shut when coming off the throttle the plenum then split the first time the car ran full boost.

I sent the plenum back to you and after refusing to refund me you said youd send out a replacement.

I havent had one despite the original being sent back in March.

Where is my plenum?

hsoj_v - $AU800 + delivery approx $AU100, approx $US675 to your door.

That was one of 7 i have just sent to Sweden as a group buy. If you guys could get the same numbers, you would be looking at betweem $US550-$US600 delivered to your door.

Let me know how many people are interested.

Hi. I do not know if they ever will make an english version of that site. It would be good in my opinion.

I will post some new pictures as soon as the plenum has been mounted on the engine.
