So I figured while I'm at it with the gauge bezels, I should take some other requests for custom parts/trim. I can design and have manufactured most anything that can be made out of sheetmetal. I can look into carbon fiber and fiberglass... but there's a slim chance of either.

Anything goes, from interior trim to a heat shield for a CAI.

Remember though, you're responsible for getting the measurements as I have no Q to measure things up on! It also helps if you're able to draw up rough sketches!

As a side note, expect to pay a fair chunk of money if you want something "one off." If you can get say 5 other people in on it though, expect to pay about 1/3 the cost or less!

And yes, my services are free for any of you wanting custom Auto-CAD work done. No inflating the final cost of production or hidden costs. It only costs you what it costs the machine shop to manufacture and ship out.

I'd love a heat shield for the JWT intake.

My car is equiped with the JWT intake, and I was going to take it off. A heat shield would change my mind.

AZ.....Shhhhhh.......I've got one (heat shield) in the works................. :D Soon.

I will need some measurements from your JWT intake if that would be possible.

AZ have you seen the box that that GS400 uses, I think its sheetmetal with a plexiglass lid, looks good and holds the cone and is then piped to the outside, I think maybe Weapon R makes it but im not sure.

I'll do anything I can to help in this field. I believe in the CAI. I like the sound, and even it adds 5 rwhp, that's 5 i didnt have...

I just want to take out the negatives, of heat building. espically in AZ.. I dont mind cleaning the MAF routinely.

whatever I can do to help, I will.

Mini - Let's talk - I may have you help me with this FSTB project that has gotten SO screwed up.

If I send you detailed measurements/drawings, you can AutoCAD?

Gonna need like 20 of each (R and L). Let's talk.

We have mucho talent on this forum.. We need to all join up, and work together...

It would be awesome to develop a whole list of mods, from just some individual hard work.. No super expensiver tuner companies.

That's true car passion.

Hitman, shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] . No guarantees, but I'll see what I can do to help the FSTB project.

Need4Speed, just ask if there's anything I can help you with. I wouldn't mind seeing a heat shield made available to the masses...

You guys think the plexiglass is worthwhile? If you like it I'll need to a little modification to my prototype. Right now I just have a flexible rubber gasket that seals to the underside of the hood.

I'd personally be fine with the rubber gaskets though a nice black metal lid would do just as well... Then I could do up a nice Infiniti logo for the top of it!

If we could engrave the box with the infiniti logo, that would just be unreal...

I saw a lincoln LS, that had the intake engraved with lincolnownersclub.com or something.. kinda neeto..

I'll take the mt fuji/infiniti logo on the box. I'd pay extra for this, no doubt..

Why not just add a chrome logo?

We can get replacement ones all day long from one of our sponsors, and they have the 3M adhesive already on them.

Excellent idea Hitman.......and I'm sure a far less expensive solution than some billet engraving.

Count me in. I already have my custom ram-air intake, but I would like to try out a CAI as well. I have a JWT POP Charger sitting in my closet right now that I could send to you to use as a proto type for fitment. I bought it off another NIICO member a few months ago and he had built a custom heat sheild with sheet metal. I just never really got around to installing it and wanted to try out the ram air idea that I did a few weeks ago which oworks great.

Let me know about it...and I will ship it to you. I can ship it to you on June 2nd as I leave for Chile today.

Rsi....sounds good. Having a pop charger here to work with my prototype would certainly make things easier. I'll work ya a deal on the first production model for the use of the JWT. :D

the X, great site and awesome work. Do you mind if I ask how large of parts you can make? As well, do you accept CAD designs? Mucho gracias.
