I moved the battery to the trunk so that I could use one of those "build your own intake" kits to have the filter where the battery was. Well, I didn't like the feel of kits(plastic) so I want to buy an intake that would do the job. I'm looking for an intake that puts the filter on the passenger side of the car, the side the FI is on, instead of running over to the driver side of the car and adding two feet to the intake. Price isn't much of a deal but i was shooting for less than 200$. I've seen the write up that did this, but the guy used JB weld and I wanted to avoid that.

Can anyone help me out? also welcome is alternatives or just plain talking me out of it.

they do sell ram air intakes that located it to that area, if you don't want to use jb weld go to a shop and have them bend a pipe to your dimensions and drill the holes and brackets as needed... GL
