hi i just got my CA rebuilt got the head ported but the intake is stock so i need to get a new intake i was thinking of just buying a hks one or greddy one like.. has anyone else got a custom intake manifold.. if so what brand is it adn how much did it cost...

dee has one. its custom. i think it cost him a fair amount, he says how much it cost in the thread, just do a search on it. as for companies that make them, i think garage paddy makes one and someone else but i cant remember that right off-hand. check dee's out though, its a really nice job.

mmmm... intake manifolds...

I'm gonna build one for my NA-KA this summer.. it's gonna rock :) It'll probably cost $20 too..

well damn. i might have to look you up this fall. not that i will have the money to buy one when the time comes, but i like to think i will have an excess of money.

has anyone used the greddy one i think i can get that for like 800 - 1000 $AUD would like to know how it goes..

didnt know greddy made on for the CA. i know they do for the SR. got any pictures of it? maybe im just an idiot.

ah well im not %100 sure what brand it is but ill let u know when i speak to him next...

im going to call him tomorrow to order me a Microtec LT-8.. oo i cant wait to start my rebuilt CA

tim- put some money aside cuz I will definately be doing it. I will try to make them as inexpensive as possible for my fellow CA family on NICO. I will also be making carbon fiber valve covers and some other stuff if I get some input as to what u guys want/will actually pay for, lol. My engine will be the place to show off the parts and I'll make things by request since I'm not an atual business.

Valve covers, or spark plug covers?

I was thinking valve covers but I could make the coilpack cover too. I might end up covering my whole damn motor in carbon fiber (atleast the stuff that isn't on the exhaust size anyway, lol. Intake manifold, valve covers, upper and lower timing covers, etc. Should be pretty clean when It's done.
