Okay, I did a search on a Custom plenum and all that and couldn't find anything so I thought i would share this. Before you start bashing this thread check out the link and here are some pics of what i'm talking about. i'm a member at the GTRcanada forum also thats how i came across this.

Dyno sheet and lots of pics and info about 7 pages. for something thats not cost much and when i say much 150 max.. not bad at all right??

Plenum is small and the rear cylinders will run lean with that configuration.

There are a bunch of iterations on that theme.

Ill say what I always say;

Non-crossover intake manifolds are an expensive luxury item, especially for a stockish motor. IMO its a situation where people like the shorter tubing etc.. but its really a show type modification.

Im assuming you saw and read that link ..... but why did they say that the pressure drop on the modified 1 was less than the Greddy 1. beats me how they know!

ok, so I just Pm'd one of the guys on the forum that still running this. and here's what he said

any down sides?any cylinders running lean that you know of ?i'm trying to get mine done!

thanks

Hi Bud,Mines still running fine,420 bhp with 400 ft/lb's of torque,The only downside is having to chop your pipework about and fabricating a few bit's like the throttle cable bracket, dump/blow off valve flange and a return pipe for the Idle control valve, and a reducer for the throttle housing to pipework, You get better response and more power and much better charge temps.as for the cylinders running lean if anything if there were a problem it would run rich,these manifolds are a very good option, the only people that seem to condemn them are trying to sell Greddy ones for three or four times the money to make one of these Even the Plasmaman manifold use the std bottom section of the inlet If you get stuck I'm going to be doing these as a bolt on kit very soon on an exchange basis with everything you will need cheersMatt __________________http://www.boostjunkies.co.uk420 bhp with 400 ft/lb (313 kw with 543 N/m)torqueTuned By RSPGTR's for show.......
