well here are a few pics of my unfinished custom intake manifold still deciding if i should go with 75mm or 90mm throttle body

where did you come up with the surge tank area of the manifold? i want one for my ka turbo AND this is another reason to build a ca coupe... bennyb

Looks nice!!!!!!!But at or around a grand, i seriously doubt if this community would be thrilled to purchase them. They are worth it because I spent close to that for mine.

If your a DYIer then check out http://www.wasabigarage.com/ He has it listed for only $180.

I bought a RB20 one from him last weekend. I paid $460 for that one cause I gave him a core. It dosen't have the RB flange on it which is what I wanted. He was goin to mount the 90mm TB flange on it. I am goin to run the stock one till I see a need to go bigger.

yes,thats where i got mine and tig welded it at my work ,but still figuring out were to weld the iac valve,coolant lines for the throttlebody,throttle cable bracket,and vaccums......by the way does anyone know if it is really needed to run coolant lines to the throttle body???

no its not.. mine wont be run. 160+ deg water running around the TB no thank you, ill take my changes with a frozen TB and throttle hang, thats why they make igniton keys and brakes for.

so your saying to just block off the stock coolant lines that go to the throttle body???

Not sure what the CA IAV looks like but I'm goin to remote mount mine. make any sense?

Block or bypass/reroute the lines.

You could always try to set up a bracket using the olt upper manifold support boltholes or try and mount it onto the strut tower.
