i had an extra intake mani..so me and my dad decided to make a custom intake manifold..we cut the flange off the extra manifold i had and i opened up the ports a lil bit to match the runners..we made the volocity stacks our self..for the sides we bend some 3 inch aluminum and cut it straight down the middle..and on the top and bottom we cut some flat aluminum out and welded it all up..we still gotta put some vacuum ports on it and the make a throttle body flange then it will be ready to put on

Nice welds. Wish I had the proper setup to weld aluminum.

Not trying to be a jerk, but are those velocity stacks the bottom of pop cans? They just kinda look like it to me. If so, mad props, and what kind of pop?

It looks good man, but I still think you should throw a little dr. pepper action in that manifold.

Good lord that thing is huge! Doesn't it hit the strut tower? You might want to rake the throttle plate back a bit so the lead cylinder gets good flow.

somebody blew a water hose I see. That fuel fiter looks to be in the danger zone the first time the motor is strongly revved. Easily moved though, looks like it will work.

so whens production to this baby....my question is...and sorry if i sound like a total F*ck stick for asking....but why is it that the greddy manifold and even the current egay manifold have that higher angle int he fron and lower angle in the rear...

im assumning to help airflow get to the final stack quicker...

"looks" about the same size as the intake on Mobnes' new 577whp setup

still not sure of much performance benfit over the standard intake seeing as he changed quite a few things on this latest run vs the old 497whp setup (stock intake)...perhaps above 7500rpm?
