My friends dad has made 3 so far, and has a 12 string in the making. Its taking him a while to build it since it's costing so much money. They are awesome guitars to play on, they all just feel so natural. I'm going to make one with him one of these days, I swear.

Nice job on yours, they look pretty good.

Man I was realy considering going to school for lutherie. Where do you get your supplies like tonewood and fretboards ect.? Do you buy kits? thanks in advance. -Shane

Many local woodworking shops will have the wood you need. You can pretty much make most of a guitar with a router and a wood shave. Also luthiers mercantile has a lot of woods and accessories or Stewart Macdonald. If you buy a piece of wood as a guitar blanks it will be twice as much as just a plain piece of wood.

going to become a luthier is one of my goals. its been on my mind for a while. but its so expensive. id love to build and be able to maintain my guitars.
