So I figure i'd share with you all that i just got my fogs in the mail for the stillen fascia. The fogs werent made for the fascia but they fit almost perfect when i put them up against the bumper.

The fogs i bought arent like dangeris (projectors w/bracket) even though they look sick, they're jus a lil expensive. The fogs i got are Oem & it has the plastic fog frame around the brackets just like the stock bumper does. I will post pics & after i put them in. Figure this little experiment could help a lot of people who wants fogs for their stillen fascia. The fogs kit cost 45$ for the pair :bigthumb: so for all those who are worried about pricing for after market fogs

Sorry I have expensive taste but I like to do things uniquely on my coupe. Make sure you take pics of the product before you install them so we all know how it looks like before it is installed. Would be great if you took pics and documented along the way for a good writeup for everyone else wanting to do the same. :yesnod

Trust if i could afford the projectors i would but i figure let me jus try something different.

But sadly this project was a FAIL  Not Totally though. I did in fact install the fogs similar to the way you did dangerous.

here's what i was trying to do. It could still work but every1 would need to shave down the bottom of the fog frame to fit in the Fascia space provided.

Basically i was taking the whole fog housing & trying to fit it into the spaces on the stillen fascia.

When i saw the pics on ebay I figure these are pretty close to the shaping of the slot & I might have to adjust the shaping slightly

As you can see there's still some spaces that need to be filled & the fog light does not fit perfectly of coarse. Also I did shave down the bottom of the fog a lil to fit into the slot. If I had someone do a more professional job maybe it could've worked out better. I will continue to work on installing the frame with the fog light but for now I only installed the fog alone.

This is the finished product. Maybe not the best of jobs but still looks descent to me & some of my friends that saw it in person today.

The fogs lights are slightly smoked. That's how i bought them. They still look clear though doesnt really do much at all :bigthumb:

Here are some pictures with my HIDS :woot: Man I've missed them so much!!! :yesnod

Very nice but how is it secured to the fascia? is it screwed in from the front or are there mounting brackets in the back. As far as positioning, would have it have fit better if it were mounted at the bottom instead of the top. That way the curvature of the fog light housing would be close to the curvature of the fascia at the outside ends.

As for shaving down the material, I would have suggested a belt sander turned upside down and ran the fogs back and forth until I got to the correct size. Great Job though! Looks awesome!

you got a link to the website where you got the fogs at, and do they come with a on/off switch?

bump.

I wanted to check out this post a while ago but have been so busy lately with school and my engagement party with my finance....

I tried putting my stock fog lights into my fascia but just used the fog light itself, not the mounting bracket. I might try this in the future.

I made my own brackets & bolted them onto the bumper in back back.

Do you think i should move the fogs more towards the outer part of the space instead of the inner??? jus a lil confused bout wat you were sayin bout the curvature.
