Waste of money?

Makes the car look ugly?

Tell me what you think.

I it can keep your car a few degrees cooler in the summer, I say it's not a waste of money.

I think for me, it'd feel like a waste of time to put it up every time I park, I'm lazy like that.

Not a waste of money ... but a bit expensive.

Gonna think about it for a few days.

Thanks for the post.

Way too expensive. I use these & they're under $10 just about anywhere.

Not sure about the price. But I will definitely get one. Here in the desert, we have days the reach 120 degrees in summers, and I have black leather interior.

i bought a generic one for under 10 bucks, don't use it that often, most of the time i just try to park facing away from the afternoon sun cuz I got tinted back window. Then i just til the moonroof and open the shade partially just to let heat out but not let the sun shine onto the dash.

Thats what i do too, even though i have the cheapo sun shade. Honestly, I don't think the more expensive sunshades do a better job, they might fit better, but as far as keeping your car cool, go with the cheaper one, IMO.

lol im to lazy to put those things on my window, just park backfacing the sun or park under a tree (with no tree sap falling on ur car hopefully) and leave half an inche of window on both windows, and/or sunroof a lil to let the hot air out

I don't think the price is high. I bought the one at the dealer and I think it depends on the kind of weather around were you live. Here in California it gets hot so it's a good thing to put that sucker on in the summer or on hot days. It really doesn't matter if it makes the car look ugly because it's not like you're going to be driving with it on, it will be on ONLY when the car is parked. I guess it's really up to you if you want it or not. Like I said. If it's made to custom fit the car like mine is it's way better then those universal ones you can get for cheap. Your spending the extra little money to get something that you know will fit your car and was made for your car. Well that's what I think.

I am just glad that we are getting more attention. Even if these aren't your cup of tea, it is still "publicity" for our cars and more and more people will start making little custom things like this. I say the more the merrier.

I bought a custom one at my dealer for 30. I always put it up and my car doesn't feel as hot as the few times I forget to put it up.

Wasn't aware that we can get one thru the dealer. I've been looking for one for awhile now but all I can find is the two piece version. I have one for my other car it definitely keeps the car a lot cooler in the summer!

I would just park in the shade. :p

I don't think I can tell a 10 degree difference. :p
