No drone at all. Yea the whistle came from the exhaust tips. I'm working on it currently. I've got it down a few decibels but it's still there. Everyone thinks it's supercharged....I wish.

Hmm...sounds pretty decent. Definitely need some more videos (inside the car cruising, inside the car WOT, outside the car drive by, outside the car fly by, inside revving and outside revving - from a bigger distance).

Sorry, I'm needy :)

Wow those tips fit really well in that exhaust cut out. That X-pipe looks pretty cool too

Here's mine - cold start first thing in the morning. Replaced the post cats with 2" straight pipes and replaced the Y-pipe and resonators with a 2" X-pipe and straight pipes. I kept the stock mufflers. A little loud at first (I like it) but you can hear it quiet down after about 25 seconds . I'll try and record a few more clips while revving, accelerating, etc.

System looks really nice. But why not 2.5 vs 2.25? I would believe with a big 5.6 liter motor a 2.5 inch system would allow that motor to breathe.

Any updates new videos? I am doing this same setup but with 2.5" piping and removing the secondary cats. infinitedrift have you made any more videos to upload to youtube? Is it a lot louder than stock now since you changed the pipe size?

This is true but from my experience, the bigger the exhaust the more you lose low end grunt. I had an old mustang and when I increased from 2.25 to 2.5 there was a noticeable loss in the low end but a big increase up top. I could see where someone would want to stay at 2.25 on these cars but use better flowing components to get the most out of the exhaust... but we could hear from the horse's mouth

Can someone confirm if this is true? Armybrat what do you think?

I just changed my exhaust up some today. I eliminated the cutouts and added magnaflow magnapaks where the OEM resonators sit. 2.5" from the manifolds back. Car still rips the tires off of it from a stop and pulls about the same as it did with open cutouts before. At highway speed cruising you barely notice it, but on startup and hard acceleration it sounds like a newer 5.0 Mustang with exhaust. Low-end torque still feels factory like.
