I'm planning on ordering some 2.5" seamless stainless steel piping to do my exhaust with in the next few days

I jus need some suggestions about what to get besides the piping... like what brand and model muffler works best (magnaflow?) on a conservative budget (I'd like to get Apexi catback but thats out of the question for me). Also would you leave in or take out the cat, or an aftermarket cat? This is the first exhaust I've worked, thanks for your help!

p.s. I searched but didnt see anything that really explained this except one guy who ran a 3" with a magnaflow muffler

pulling the cat has yielded minimal gains if any. I wouldn't bother pulling it unless it's already given out on you.

With the welding, pipes, and frustration from fitting, you might be better off buying a lower priced catback. Check out the apexi n1. lots of folks have em, a little loud on the ka's but good bang for the buck.

You might wanna check out intense power, they've got a good deal on their exhaust. I'm not sure how good they perform or sound though
