Im wondering what is out there for the Q45 or if its even possible to modify the stock ECU for performance. Ive heard of other ECUs being able to cancel out or ignore engine retarding symptoms say, if a sensor was bad your car would run crappy or whatever. Is it possible to tell your ECU to completely forget that sensor and still have it run fine?
Curious to know how these race guys are running their VH45DEs and other series motors with absolutely no wires or any sort of emissions or any sensor on the motor, and still put down amazing numbers and performance...

Check with Wes here on nico, he's our moderator. He's doing a batch of ECU's for NICO members.Your Q must be a 1990-1993 model i believe,in 94 they started using OBD II, the Nico ECU's are all OBD I.I believe the starting cost for a dual switcher is $250.
There is anotherone out on the market made byJIM WOLF TECHNOLOGIES, but there's are around $600.
There is one more manufacture but i cant think of thename at the moment.
