I thought about making some form of cupholder, but now i just only drink resealable bottles in my car. or if i do get a cup from lets say a fast food joint i push my passenger seat back some and squish the cup between it and where the backseats used to be. Whenever you get the chance I definatly want to see those pictures of your work. I have a small project i'm going to play with soon, turning the center console into a cigar humidor:)

My girlfriend bought me a cup holder but it a Hello Kitty. I never installed it thankfully she hasn't asked me about it either. When I get out a drive-thru I give serious thoughts to installing it but I see hello kitty right infront of it and I think I rather drive with 1 hand.

are you talking about the ashtray on a s13, cause i know in my 95 theres no way you could fit a drink where it goes, maybe a shotglass but..

Corn- glad you like the humidor idea lol. I've been plannign on doing it for awhile just been lazy, need to get some 1/4'' cedar, a hydrometer gauge, and the little foam humidifier. Planning on cutting a hole in the fold up console between the seats to fit the gauge so you can always tell how moist the cigars are lol. I've got too much free time, but love the tobbacco;)

I was pretty tempted to get this off ebay. Its pretty cheap, but seems like it mite be too flimsy or spill on my seats.

Any idea why they list only 93+ 240sx's?

ha, yeah i have one of those, it actually the cup holder for my couch now, u can get them at target for much much cheaper... (and its not for 93+ 240sx, its a universal cup holder that has a leg that holds it in place between the seat and the console

I was bored last year and wanted something that would hold a supersized drink. I did a DIY job thats still holding up http://pfm101.com/cupholder/index.html

I did the project so that I got a chance to work with fiberglass, I enjoyed the experience and have worked with fiberglass since. I have ideas on how to refine the project and might undertake another one if I can source a center console.

There are beefier flipup cupholders from other models like VW Passat which can hold two cups (2000+). VW guys buy these and mount them on the side of the centre console (passengerside). Sorry, I don't have any pics.

DO NOT BUY this piece of crap. I got cheated out of my 15 bux getting this piece of crap. It's a universal fugly cup holder that "wedges" between your console and seat. The guy's description is really shady. He tries to make it look like it's a 240sx specific product.

This is what I'm talking about. I believe these retail for $40USD at your local VW dealer. These are from a 97 Passat.
