Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but looks like a good one. I have a '73 s30 and am bulding a track car, looking into rear brake conversion I don't see a point in spending so much money when I have all the tools and knolage of bulding my own.

I woukd like to know what every one else has done, i.e. what brake rotors have you used and what calipers have you used, I would like to get my parts from my local autozone so if some thing happens at a track I can replace parts with ease. Thank you

Someone sells rear disk brackets on ebay for 200 that use maxima calipers and z31 rotors. Just upgrading to 510 steel drums and 77-78 dual piston rear hardware and backing plates if nearly as good, ive done both and they felt similar, then I went wilwood and thats a different ballgame

the calliper is 81-83 maxima, it's the same as the 79-83 280z and the 84-86 300zx but the ebrake bracket is at a better angle, the rotor is a rear 84-85 300zx n/a
