This box was built to match the specifications Alpine made for the 12" Type R. It is tiny but will let the Type R give everything it's got.

Now all I need is apmlification...

That should work fine bro. Just one piece of advice would be make sure that amp has a subsonic filter on it. Because that box is ported you will need one to make sure the sub does not lose control beyond it's tuned frequency, and maintain cone control.

Looks awesome man, almost like micro fiber or suade on the box.

Its microfiber actually. Matches the interior quite nicely. The box is unbelivable small and since the back is slanted, it'll fit right up against the back of the rear seats perfectly. I'll take a pic once I install it when my amp gets in. The footprint is so tiny, I still have lots of space for stuff.

Related note, wiring hardware in

Kenwood amp is in, sub is installed

still space for stuff

Pounds good, breaking it in for the next few weeks. Then time to turn the gain up. I also had a good idea. Download an mp3 of a 30hz tone and find where all the rattles in the car are coming from
