Who can really hear the added noise over most of our 3" exhausts anyway lol. I did it, but my airbox had the tabs broken off anyway.

im interested in doing this. just because its something to do and cuz it looks cool. i see some people are saying its actually BAD to do this. is that true. can some one give a real reason instead of saying its dumb. how is this different that a cold air intake? are they "dumb" too. because issentially its the same thing right? correct me if im wrong.

well it's dumb because people spend money on it when it doesn't do anything. the stock air intake is probably the best option for a stock motor.

so you're spending money for something that will give you 0 gain if not make it worse. if it at least had metal piping or if it was a CAI it would at least make some noise from the piping but this is a stock piping...i dono i wouldn't bother spending any money on doing something that gives no benefit.

if you use a good filter like that apexi one im sure it would make a little bit of a difference atleast

i dont see how people are saying and actual short ram will make it worse though....

it does give benefit my 240 was slow from 0-60 now is better cuz the stock one suck and did not suck enough air to throught it in my 3" JDM cat back!!

engine noise is a big thing for me..i love the noise from my cousin's Altima Coupe and the infiniti Gsif that s*** sounds like it.. id get it too lol...but metal piping FTW f*** plastic
