Hey all... I just saw this car and am wondering how I might go about doing something similar. I looked at the light and couldn't find a way in. Looking in the manuals didn't help me either. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might go about accomplishing something like this?

Oh sad. I was hoping that it was a piece INSIDE the light... Just for future reference, how does one go about removing that break light?

Hey! the Camel as one of those! I just went to my sign shop and had them make me one. all it consists of is a piece of vinyl with a word cut out of it. Had mine done in Black (allows less light to shine through)

as a note: Bought my first one from the eBay seller... much cheaper to have a local sign shop do it for you... I actually got my 2nd one for free... (I did purchase over $200 in graphics from this place though and all they used was a remnant piece of black vinyl and about 2 minutes of computer time... really.)

Hey Kimber,

I'll bet when people see your car driving around and they're not familiar with your Camel and what it's about, they think you're endorsing Camel the cigarette company. They probably think "man, that lady sure loves to smoke!"

XoP

actually, I've had quite a few people ask whose Sopwith Camel's in the parking lot in the past month... it makes me smile when people get it.

Then I laugh at the people who are farthest off base... Rodney thought my plate meant "Sup with you?"

I find it hard to believe that when everything on your car points in one direction, people will still take one piece of it (the Camel breaklight) and think about cigarettes... I've come to believe that people just want everything handed to them. I think even if I get my 'wings' placed in the back window, people will still refuse to get it.

...

Maybe a sign that says "Hey, Idiot, the Sopwith Camel was a WWI biplane. I do not smoke."

...

hmmm....

might still be too vague...
