See, this is what makes me think Jesda.

You have had these businesses, and still do, but you have a thread like this where you state personal balances.

What's the deal. Is business bad? Is money all tied up in equity? WTF?

Since you're a budding investigative reporter, I'll make it easy for you: I suck d!ck for coke. I charge extra to work the balls.

Business is steady (although there was a scary period there a couple years ago), but now there's a pile of inventory, literally tons of it, sitting in the warehouse begging to be unloaded. Its cold in there and I hate driving downtown.

That reminds me of Bob Saget in Half Baked.

omg thats some serious BS.

i've been thinking of leaving BoA to and just using my credit union, solely. ehhhhh but BoA is so convenient and theres one everywhere and i'd have to change all of my direct deposit/auto withdrawl payment info.....such a hassle.

im sick of their fees.

F*** BANK OF AMERICA

I had a large sum sitting in a Countrywide account last year cause they paid the most interest. I've since moved most of the money out since the rates dropped, but I still had about $800 in the account when BoA took over. Countrywide never charged me anything, they just let my money sit there and paid me $30 or so a month in interest. BoA however, charges me $20 a month as a "maintenance fee" for two accounts. f***ING BULLs***! I only had two accounts with Countrywide because you needed to have a main one, then a little side one that you need to transfer money to before you can transfer it to an external bank.

So without my knowledge, BoA has been stealing money from my two accounts, one of which didn't have any money in it to begin with, and was $30 in the red when I just checked it. Everyone at BoA can go die in a fire. This is absolutely horrendous. I am so f***ing glad we bailed out these pieces of s*** just so they can steal from their customers. I feel for you, Jesda.

Edit: On top of everything, they charge me $3 to transfer money to an external bank, no matter what, and won't even let me empty the account. f***ing bloodsuckers, every one of them.

I'm actually really glad this thread popped up.

I was renting a tux about a month ago and just as I finished paying for it, I noticed the signs around the store saying I could BUY a suit for like $25 more.

So I ask the girl If I can cancel the tux and get a suit instead. No problem, slide the card back through to pay for the additional remaining balance, and all is well.

5 days later I look in my account and their is a $45 "return fee". WTF? I never even left the god damn store!

I called BofA and they basically told me to suck a d!ck. They stated that they have to do that whenever they return over $100 to my account. I called BS and told them to give me my money back. The man on the line refused.

I called back the next day and was told by this new person that the money was withdrawn for a different reason. (can't remember what exactly) and called back the day after that ans was told another reason.

I have 3 different people telling me 3 different reasons why my money was taken out. I spoke with a manager and they can't confirm exactly why my money was taken out. WTF!

So apparently they are allowed to just withdraw "fee's" out of your account with no real reason. Once my credit is paid off, I'm outta there.

I have called several times and they still refuse to budge. They still can't

Wow. Shame for you Jesda. Thanks for the heads up about how terrible Bank of America is. I been weaving my way out of Wells Fargo for a while now, however they always have corrected the errors or ridiculed charges.

I'm keeping every single shred of evidence in a file folder -- I will no longer deal with this bank without double-copies of everything.

I've moved on to another bank in the meantime.
I wonder if you might be able to file a claim against the rejection. If not, I'd take it to small claims. Get a copy of your statement that shows the deposit had been made. That should be sufficient to prove a deposit was made. BofA will have to prove why it was invalid at that point since that is their claim.

The OCC/Dept of Treasury decided in my favor. BoA called to tell me "we agreed with their decision and are crediting the funds to you." I laughed. They should have "agreed" from the very beginning, but whatever. Issue resolved.

Gee, 5 weeks later. They must've put that one through on roller skates.

I've never had a bank "decision" that took less than 2 months...

I'm amused that they made it sound as if their discretion mattered at all at this point. As a national institution, BOA is the OCC's little b*tch and is required to comply.
