So here is my problem, I want to go lower but, if I put the collars any lower there will be no preload on the springs,.... I have CUSCO comp coilovers and the whole shock body is threaded, why would they thread the whole thing if I can't drop it anymore without having my springs wobbling and bouncing all over the place. Is there any way to go lower?
thanks
-Danny

The weight of the car will lower the shaft into the shock, causing the springs to become loaded once again. It's still not a good idea to lower the car using the the springs. The piston could bottom out causing premature failure.

I know the weight of the car will load the springs once on the ground but when you go over a big dip or bump in the road it will jaunce the springs out of the seat making all kinds of problems...thanks for the input dudes

Yes.
If he's just looking to go low, he needs better coilovers suited for that.
