So among other things yesterday (i.e. fixing overheating) we installed the cusco FSTB.. which barely clears the engine (on SR NISMO mounts), and doesn't clear the hood (it's made an impression on the hood insulation, and when releasing hte hood instead of *thunk* it goes *BLAM* as it's released).

I can understand it barely clearing on the SR mounts, but anyone who has it.. do you have problems with the hood closing correctly?

as it is the right side at the front isn't quite meeting up with the headlight and fender.. driver's (left) side isn't a problem.

since it sits directly on the strut towers engine mounts and such should have no effect, so any ideas why it doesn't fit?

Yeah that tells you how much more lifted over stock the SR NISMO mounts put the CA! if the like 1/4" high screw body part of the clamp on the intake hoses keep the hoodfrom closing...
