Hello everyone, I am just curious, I have a 07 S with auto trans. What are the rpm's at 100 kms (or 60 miles ) with the CVT and the 6-speed manual, Thanks.

My CVT is right at 2000 rpm at 60 mph.

My CVT is close to that, between 2000 and 2500

My CVT's RPMs at freeway speed are quite variable. @ 60mph, it largely depends on if I "punched it" to get there or not, and if I've backed off the gas pedal since then. The CVT will happily do 60MPH @ 3-3.5k if you pushed it hard to get there and never pulled all the way back, but if you let loose and use the lag (not a whole lot of engine braking here!) to let the CVT rev the engine down, it will train down to 2-2.5k.

Earlier today I hit 95mph @ 3.2k, if that's any indication of how low the CVT often keeps the RPMs for you.

Is 3k to 3.5k RPM for 60MPH bad? As for that what is the TOP speed of the V i have been hearing 105MPH, but it keeps me wondering if its too little for it?

Since the max. speed limit is 75 mph, I would guess that a 105 mph top speed would be just fine....

I hope for your sake and those around you, you are not driving 105mph on an open course on stock tires.

Clearly you've never driven I-5 in CA between the SF Bay Area and LA... 95-105 is very common on that long, straight stretch of road through nothingness.

That sounds like you've turned off your overdrive. Make sure your O/D button is on, not off.

lol no i never hit 105 max i hit was 70 for couple of seconds :D, not that good to hit 105s

My O/D is on and it hits 3k or more RPM at 60 without pressing the gas paddle much, like if I keep going on a straight road at 60 still the same. 3k RPM is that a problem? its automatic not CVT

It seems within the realm of normality for a regular AT, IMHO.

My car is a 4 speed auto and it runs around 2500-2600 rpm at 60 miles. 3000 at 60 seems a little high, mine does not hit 3000 till im doing at 120 kms (70 miles I think)
