curious question about sr??

Hey,

I heard some rumors that you can use the ka wiring harness and ecu with the sr20det red top. Of course its not direct plug n play, but if you mess with the wires a bit can it be done? This kid at the tower shops (south florida people know what im talking about) said that he used it and it works. I dont believe him personally, so im asking if anyone else has done it. Could you be saving a lot of money doing this?

with a FWD SR20DE distributor and a JWT ECU it can be done. But your down about 10hp and it's really not at all worth it IMHO. It would be cheeper and easier to just run the SR harness and ECU. The wiring is really simple, it's nothing THAT hard to do if you can solder, or ship the harness off and you'll be much happier trust me.
