I have both. Had a problem awhile back(2 years) thought it was MAF
So plugged the maxima one in. Ran just fine. That ended up not being the
Problem. But given they are different depth and have differences
In the way they expose the element IS there any performance difference between the two in the way they meter the flow?

Popped my original back in just to see if it changes
MPG or performance. So far after a quick ride I can't
Notice any difference.

Please excuse iPhone errors!

There should not be noticeable differences for the most part.

I thought the Pathfinder MAF was slightly larger?

I think it's the Maxima MAF that is larger.

Correct the Maxima is deeper. The OEM has an additonal exposed element on the bottom facing the air filter but overall so far the differnce I can't tell as of yet (other than I THINK that with the newer maxima one it drove smoother but could be all in my head). I'm going to track MPG to see if its any different. My original only had 50K on it when I replaced it...
