Curious about my turbo

so i was randomly admiring my turbo underneath my bed the other day and i came across somethin interesting. first off, its a garett T3 from a T-bird and has a .63 A/R and its internally wastegated. so i was looking at the hole where the downpipe would bolt to and the size of it seems extremely small to me. it measures about 2 inches in diameter. id love to run one big pipe from the turbo to my exhaust and my 3" piping makes that DP hole seem nonexistent. what's the avg size of a DP hole on a turbo and am i just being paranoid. sorry for the newbness of the question.

My T3 .63 A/R with stage 3 wheel has a 2.25" turbine discharge.
