Hey guys, im kicking around the idea of doing this type of upgrade on my setup...im curious to hear from those of you whom have this already and wanted some positive/negative feedback from those who have experience with this type of setup.....im interested in the either the snow performance or the AEM meth kit...if there are others please feel free to throw them up and tell me about em...

I dont know much about the snow kit except they are big in the diesel world... I know that the AEM kit has a low tank switch that switches off them pump when it gets low. You'll be able to run more timing and boost with less knock kind of like e85 but without all the fuel upgrades. im not sure what your setup is, but im certain with saying itll help but without knowing your setup i cant tell you how much i think it will help.

some people believe its just a band-aid for a weak fuel system. I have a nice dual nozzle kit from AIS sitting in my garage waiting install this spring. I think its a good alternative as long as you do it right. There are fail-safe methods you can install to make sure it doesn't fail too. I have seen multiple cars perform well with one attached without much issue. I have also seen cars go boom with one installed...but i'd guess it was owner fault before it was the systems fault.

I have a Devils Own kit on my Honda, i run 28psi on pump 92 with a 75/25 meth/water mix

Built my own fail safe with a nice methanol safe adjustable pressure switch inline with the line going to the nozzle, when the switch reaches my desired pressure setting (pressure varies with nozzle sizes, pump adjustment, pump type etc) it sends a ground signal to my ECU to activate a second set of tables that are tuned past my max safe pump gas ONLY boost levels... so if the switch doesn't activate the car just falls on it face cause its gets no fuel or ignition advance..

It works well, i also installed a small filter between the pump and the tank to filter anything out as a clogged nozzle, line, etc can fool the fail safe..

BTW you could also have the switch activate anything or modify anything that you can define or set in your engine management, i would have preferred just to have it interrupt/turn off my boost control but i have an independent controller in this car.

Well, as far as my setup goes its a ER34 RB25 NEO and im running a power FC, 650cc injectors, T67 turbo, manifolds on both sides...etc etc. internals are completely stock but I am thinking strongly about a set of cams (possibly tomei)

Meth injection works, and works well. I had a kid on my car years ago and pulled it all out for an E85 setup. I didn't like the hassle of filling the tank and extra engine bay clutter. Now E85 has its own limitations as far as availability goes but you just have to pick which suits you best.

I ran an Alky Control kit fwiw.

yeah after doing a decent amount of research ,I'm going to be going with the AEM meth kit...the progressive setup they offer seems pretty legit and sound...keeping my fingers crossed..

We've had nothing but good experiences with AEM's kit:
