Curious about ECU numbers

I searched high and low, and only came up with one thing:

RB20 ecu's have "23" on the side. All the ones Ive seen have, even from a Cefiro.

Question is, mine says "65" on it, and for some reason Im throwing code 54, "Auto Signal to ECU". Perhaps my ECU is from an auto-transmission RB20? Do they cross over with no problems down the road? Im thinking mine was converted to 5-speed at one point, as its from a Cefiro, and I believe they all come Auto from Nissan.

Anyone have a "65" ecu or information on them?

Then I can cross that number to what chassis it would have come from.

My ecu has a 22 on it as well

I dont think the 22 really means anything, maybe a quality control number or something.

I knew it was from an auto car! thanks. BTW anyone hit the speed cut with the swap?

if you dont wire the speedo to the ECU you will NEVER hit speed cut. Just wire the speedo to the gauges.

so the auto ecu will run a manual I take it. Thats good news for me, since, well, thats what I got.
