A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Even though FWD cars love to understeer, what are some easy ways to get the back end to come around?

Rear sway bar combined with a good ol' Scandinavian Flick will kick it around. It obviously won't be sustained, since as soon as you get on throttle you'll be going straight again.

Being smart about your line and throttle input through turns will minimize understeer.

How much bigger rear sway bar would I want to go for in a b15 sentra?

I want to say they range from 22-25mm, so, IMO, not much difference. Whatever decent brand you can find a deal on will probably be fine.

Throttle control? There's only so much friction the front tires can provide.

Speaking of tires, another good idea is to get rid of whatever OEM crap Nissan threw on and put on some high-performance rubber.

What did they put on 06s? The 07s and on get the Conti tires which aren't bad.

The 06 has z-rated conti's also. Broad constant radius turns are no problem but when it comes time for those right angle and 360 degree turns in auto-x, the front end just plows in and I have to come to a virtual standstill to make the turn.

The Conti's aren't bad, per se, they're just not good, either.

Pricey too. I ran over some junk in the road and it cost $275 to get a new one.

You got ripped. The only tires I can think of that cost anywhere near that much are upper-end Michelins, and they'd actually be worth it.

Some BFG G-Force, Yoko Avids or, on a budget, Falken Ziex, would do much better. Then again, if you're in SoCal you don't even need an all-season, so you have a ton of options.
