yea funny story kinda..i was entering a parking lot full of workers and business people so i figured hey i should lower my music..so i used the music controls on my steering wheel and i honk the horn by accident (not the first time its happened)..so i freak out and whip it around the corner and curb it on my back left tire..last time i use tht control on the steering wheel its pure trouble lol..but anyway is this a bad thing for my tire?

thats sucks man.... I know what your saying about teh steering wheel controls. I have honked at many people on the interstate because I was flicking the button too hard ......

it's you men and your aggressive button pressing, lol. seriously though, my ex did this all the time when he drove my car, and I had never done it before and thought he was crazy. when I tried to, it took me a few tries and I had to press pretty hard for the horn to honk. just cool it down! you don't have to press the button that hard to turn the volume up and down or whatever

Its hard to tell how deep the gash is but if you dont have a flat by now then you should be fine. just try to avoid hitting that spot again or you will probably have a problem

You should cut it off and see what's exposed or try to fix the appearance with very delicate applications of a torch lighter. Gotta be like a surgeon's hand with that though... (same goes with fixing interior trim flaws) I don't get how people accidentally honk @_@ Find it rather hard.
